Personal experience of running one of Britain’s biggest bus operators, together with many of the technology-based pioneering initiatives that are being implemented, including mobile ticketing.

An interactive panel session on emerging vehicle technologies, with representatives from both operators and manufacturers discussing their experiences and future developments.

Parliamentary Under Secretary of State for Transport, as well as being local MP for Lewes; he is a passionate advocate of public transport.
1.30pm – Brian Higbee, General Manager, Trapeze ITS
Brian has for many years been pioneering the development of real-time information systems, most notably in Brighton, and in London with the huge iBus system, and he reflected on the future developments of real-time information and benefits to operators and to customers.
2pm – Interactive Workshop (including Refreshment Break)
This was an opportunity to apply what we see and learn from the speakers earlier in the day and see how we can put them to use in our respective businesses.
